Because our purebred Coton De Tulear are our only dogs and our pets, we only have one litter per year - usually in the spring or summer. Average litter size is six and we've been blessed with mostly white but a couple of black/white or tri-color pups each time. The demand for these colorful pups is high, so a deposit to hold one is necessary to ensure obtaining him/her.

The Coton De Tulear is a playful, affectionate, intelligent breed. Some people consider it as a completely non-aggressive breed when given the proper love and care. It loves life and is enthusiastic and lively. It is a very vocal breed, grunting and making other noises when having fun. Many Cotons have a habit of jumping up and walking on their hind legs to please people. Cotons generally love meeting new people and are very curious in new situations. The dogs are highly trainable with praise. Coton De Tulear dogs get along great with other dogs and cats.
